The dropkicks are $60 cheaper than the Twall's at my local shop and I was wondering if it was worth the extra $60 for rubber soles and a different liner. Is there really a difference?
Yeah defiantly get the twalls. Being able to change the soles rather the. Having to replace the whole shell will save you money in the long run. If you wear down the toe on drop kicks there is nothing you can do but replace the whole boot. The twall also comes with the pro liner, so it should be an easy decision. But make sure they fit. Don't just buy full tilts because they are full tilts buy the very bet fitting boot. Also remember full tilts have no stick insoles so try them with some kind of footbed as the fit can change once you add footbeds, but hopefully any good boot fitter will do this anyway.
also, the Twalls come with the intuition pro liner, which is worth $100 more than the drop kicks performance liner. I had the same choice, except a $40 difference. I went with the Twalls.
Go with a Dalbello instead. Il moro is a better shell and liner quality. It will last last years longer and you can make them stiffer if needed with pieces that come with it.
