Does anyone know how to dye full tilt boots
so look i got sum blue hot doggers that i wanna change to black, as dark as black can be would be the best. if anyone knows how give me a shout. thanks
I copied and pasted this from an older thread on here about dyeing boots, posted by @ ~Joe~ : -Step 1. Choose a color of RIT dye, you can get them at most arts and crafts stores
Step 2. Takes liners out and clean the shells
Step 3. (this is when improvisation comes in)What i did was start boiling 3 pots of water at a time until i filled a plastic bucket that could fit both my boots in it, With the final pot of boiling water, mix in the RIT dye, and add it to the rest of the water and stir it around a bit. Put the boots in, the more time, the darker the color, i did mine for about 22 minutes.
Step 4. Takes the boots out and rinse them with cold water until the water runs clear.
Step 5. Let them dry, put the liners in, and be a baller.
I was actually about to suggest the same thing as I happen to have been thinking about it for a few days...
was gonna give you the link to the old thread, but you get the idea, I just want to warn you how powerful that RIT die is... wear junky cloths, handle with caution, it dies literally everything.
