Titus69It was literally just a burst of flame for a split second, I dabbed beforehand and it kinda sparked when it sizzled in little spots as if plant material was on it. It looks no different to the shatter I last used with said people back in early winter, just the slab was even beefier. When I reheat sometimes the reclaim stays lit until I blow it out. Idk if it was water perhaps, the kid sometimes freezes the slabs. It's kinda orangey yellow, with some small bubbles, isn't see through unless it's a close shadow behind it. It tastes good at mid temp though, I feel like the crumble I had a while back did similar stuff. I just want fucking rosin but it's not common, and the bud I get from this is usually mids and not worth pressing.
My summer connect was great, quality Maine grown bud.
See this is so tough, for a number of reasons. It definitely could be water trapped in the oil, any longer than a minute or so at a time in a freezer can trap moisture. Those bubbles could also legitimately be air or terpenes, as they frequently form bubbles in oil. But it could also be butane. If its not transparent oil, all that means usually is that it was not dewaxed, and there are still waxes and lipids in your oil. All this means is a lower thc% and a harsher hit. But if its a cloudy type of opacity, that can be a sign of lots of butane.
Honestly though, the level at which butane becomes harmful for you is quite high, I think like 500ppm in shatter. Most good shatters are 50ppm or less butane. I would imagine oil with 500ppm of butane would be so runny that its basically liquid, so your oil is probably fine to smoke a couple grams of
