I've been watching this edit ever since it came out and I think it's one of the sickest vids on youtube. I wanted more people to see it and see what NS thinks. For those of you that have seen it, watch it again, it's so good.

I wonder who thought it'd be a good idea to cut all the shots of people actually doing stuff while leaving in all the straight air jumps uncut... omg they must have like a totally cool cliff jumping movie coming out!


That was pussy shit compared to some of the jumping up in Oregon.

and those are hardly the gnarliest dudes either. There's an edit somewhere out there that shows multiple jump spots from these crazy motherfuckers jumping 20ft. in 3ft. deep water to gainering and front flipping off 80 ft. cliffs (not sure if the punch bowl is the same drop but still, fronties are insanely more scary/dangerous than a gainer).

ive seen all the oregon/washington spots, they're fucking sweet. And to trip of a lifetime, look at the falling off the rock versions, they're better i think. And i just love that video because unlike skiierman, i actually like the editing and everything they do is so fucking clean

I've def seen that edit. They cross that fence and jump sump huge drop into a little hole. It looks alot like punchbowl but I think its bigger.

Yeah huge into a deep ocean that's clear enough to see that it's impossible to hit the floor, with nothing around you... soooo impressive...

Some of those shots looked pretty shallow actually. Sure river jumping is gnarlier but you don't see people throwing dub gainers into 10 foot radius holes very often. River vs ocean is like park vs pow skiing, can't really compare

ocean jumping just as sketch as jumping into rivers/lakes. most of the time rocks are a shitload sharper, and water ain't all the that deep a lot of the time. A bunch of those spots in bermuda the water's like 6-10 feet, sometimes un-hittable at low tide. You also have to deal with rough seas, I was in st. thomas this past spring and we were trying to climb up the rock from the water on the lee side of the rock in like 2-3 foot swells. Gripping on to coral is almost impossible, it cuts the shit out of your hands, and I don't know if you've ever tried, but climbing out of water on to a cliff is hard. Anyways, a swell came and knocked my friend off into the coral, he was under for like 15-20 seconds, apparently he said he was trying to free himself from an underwater coral cave that he was entering. I swam back to the boat thinking he was okay, but he got knocked up pretty bad and couldn't really swim, so when i got back on to the boat, i realized he needed help. I dove off and dragged him back on, luckily he was fine, could have ended a lot worse. Just saying ocean cliff jumping can be just as, if not more dangerous that freshwater jumping.

I'm just saying that cliff jumping in the ocean can be just as, if not more dangerous than in freshwater. You can't really argue with that, there are just many variables that could go wrong when being in the ocean, not a tame river or lake

sorry about bumpping two of my own threads, just going through these cuz im bored. But are we talking about the one in falling off the rock 2011 part 2? Ask Mike to time the drop because if its 120+ feet i will shit my pants. It didn't seem that fucking massive to me. It's awesome that you're friends with Mike Wilson, ask him if he's in Bermuda this summer, I was just there doing some jumping myself
