Hey Y'all, I know i was interested in selling my 05 rally blue wrx but I don't have to anymore. So I am looking to do some cool interior or exterior upgrades. Mainly for looks not performance. I am getting new headlights and fogs as well as a rubber lip. Can y'all suggest any stylish upgrades?
Bro, totally go upgrade yourself a bit as well. A kickin' mohawk, some sick face tats, and a few studs in your forehead would be totally sick. Rock on, bro!
V-Limited lip (or replica), RCE black springs, RCE front camber lowering plate, and wheels. Since you're not looking for performance, buy some Rota Grids or something. They look sick as hell (TE37 replicas) and they're cheap.
In what way are coilovers and wheels performance? Springs and rotas look like shit, therefore coils and real wheels versus shitty knockoffs would improve his "cosmetics".
If OP was talking about performance, it would be in terms of hp/tq. QUALITY Springs/Shocks can tighten a car down just as well as coilovers, both would be "performance oriented" then wouldn't they? Normally when I hear the word performance I think engine bolt-ons, as everyone else does. Not springs and coilovers.
Bottom car, but only because I have seen that car before.
If youre going for low buy Raceland coilovers. They are by far the best riding and handling coils I have ever come across for the money. They cost $469 I think for a set. Not sure if thats in your price range or not, but considering a set of springs is gonna run you around 300 Id just shell out the extra cash. For wheels Id look into rota's as said before, xxr's, or drags's if youre looking to save some cash.
Oooooooooooh shit!
But I'd rather go for coils cuz you just can't get that nasty fitment with springs. But unless op plans on tracking all day rotas should be more than efficient
performance wise on coilovers ive heard mostly to help balance especially with negative camber other than that i dont know much else but i wouldnt go against getting coilovers on a WRX
