call me a pussy, but we've all been there, or are going to be.

we well over a year...

and it was one of those silly highschool ones.

i haven't been with me ex for two months and i'm still not over her, i'm not even over us dating or anything, what are some of the best ways i can just get over it?

should i:

-fuck a bitch

-drown my sorrows with liquor

-talk about it more

-quit talking to her

what? i have no clue..

Jesus... Dude you gotta stop talking to her... That is brutal; prob why you still feel like shit after 2 months.

That doesn't mean you have to hate her, or treat her badly. But just stop talking to her and if she talks to you just tell her respectfully: "talking with her is making you miserable and unable to move on and for the time being you would like some space".

I know not talking to her may be hard... But you guys broke up, and when you talk to her and you guys converse like nothing is wrong it creates a sense of false-hope that you may get back together. And it is that false-hope that is ultimately making it impossible for you to move on.

So in conclusion, end all communication with her, honestly I would suggest blocking her on Facebook just so you're not reminded her as much. The first couple weeks will be most difficult, I suggest keeping yourself busy hanging out with friends or whatever your hobbies are. Whenever you feel ready start looking for other girls, from drunk hook ups or formal dates, the thing that ultimately allow you to move on from your ex is to find someone else.

definitely stop talking to her. stop going on facebook, too. focus on real life and go out with a different girl. also get into some hobby you've let fall by the wayside like going to the driving range, drawing, fishing, skateboarding, whatever...

Stop talking to her, end all ties... Tell her respectfully you are not capable of just being friends and if she isn't interested in being in a relationship then for the time being you do not want to be friends so you can move on. Make it clear you're mad at her but you need to do this for yourself.

It sounds like she broke up with you, so trying to get back with her seems futile. If you want to get back together there is no harm in talking about about it, but if she isn't interested follow advice from the previous paragraph immediately.

If your starting this thread option 1 doesn't exist does it? Since you'd have already banged other people and been over her if you could.

If you want to lower your standards I am sure there is easy booty around. But random 1 and dones are usually busted and you'll feel like shit for banging something gross if your ex was hot. I wouldn't worry about getting some immediately.

Best advice is be a man and just go out a lot more and try an expand your social circle/scene and chill with some people you might usually not have if you were with her. Remind yourself that women are like buses don't run for one since another is always coming. Just go out a lot and have fun and meet new people and a new girl or two will enter your life.

Whether you stop talking to her or not, if you're not getting back together then in time you will forget about her. It will be easier if you stop talking but if you want to try and 'stay friends' then you just gotta wait it out. Whatever you do, do not fuck her again in the hopes that you'll get back together. If you were going to get back together, she wouldn't have waited 2 months.

Breaking up is awful but time really does heal. They say it takes half the length of the relationship to truely get over someone if they broke it off and you still wanted in = 6 months for you. One day you'll realise how much better off you are without her. The other advice is good too, fuck some other girls, hang out with your guy friends, hit the gym.
