Editing Taking its Toll
I have 2 pretty big projects going on right now on a two drive PC with 10 gb out of 90 free on one drive and 3 gb out of 14 free on the main drive. I am using adobe premiere pro and it is freezing alot during editing and exporting dvd NTSC files that are choppy. Anyone have a few tips to get this thing kicking ass again? Will more RAM help?
Anything to make my computer run better cause I am getting paid for both of these projects.
more ram always helps, i would suggest using the 90 gig drive over the other one too cause when ur editing you use a shit load of space up.
Why don't u just go suck a fuck!.....'Oh really!? Tell me how exactly does one suck a fuck???
Your such a fuck ass! 'Did you just call me a fuck ass?! lol' *little girl comes in and says* Whats a fuck ass?
your premier might be making preview files, which can add up and ruin space on your hard drive, there is a way to change that, i'm not sure how
I am Ben Wallace
i eliminated those, lots of those fuckers but my comp is still being a piece of trash
You could go get a G5 if you wanted.
It's the batontwirlertwistshakebakecakeholehumperdinkkink rail.
Yeah, its most likely your RAM. If you don't want to spend the money and put more in there, just restart your computer once it slows down, that should clear things up.
...No, it's J.F. Cusson.
yea more ram will definatly help but make sure it's a higher type of ram. for instance: 512pc2700 is a lot slower than 512pc4000 or ddr4
you should edit with offline rt qual footy, then just recapture exactly what files you need in full res when your done, also you need to encode in mpeg2 for dvd's.
