Ayo so I tore my acl. Wtf can I do to keep y mmind off skiing I'm going crazy right now. Suggestions on a new hobby?

I've been out for the past bit, and I've been able to keep busy just doing all the little things that I didn't do when I was skiing instead. Tying up all the loose ends, catching up on appointments, finishing projects, etc... Obviously there isn't enough to last more than a week or two, but for the short term it's productive and wastes a ton of time.

Get a kendama. It will destract you for months and it gives you a similar sadisfaction to landing new tricks while skiing except less adrenaline.

Dude, I just got surgery on my ACL and Meniscus yesterday. It totally sucks. So far I've spent all my time on NS. I've been playing skate 3 on PS3 too, it's sick and its distracting me, so there's that.

If you're in school really focus on that. I recently broke my foot and am having to deal with the same reality of temporarily finding other things to do. But now I have all the time in the world for school whereas I'd completely blow off school when I could ski all the time.

Try to spend your time in productive ways, it's really easy to end up sitting around. Work out whatever you can on your bad leg (without further injuring it, obviously) so that PT won't be as grueling when you start. And you'll atrophy less.

And there's always shredsauce haha

if you have an old bmx in your shed or something, you could buy some spray paint and take it apart, spray it, rebuild it could take a week or so, my friend did that when he broke his leg, but if you have no interest in bikes i guess there's no point

Working out and pt fo the knee is good, also kendamas are the shiz. Once you get good at it you can go hard for hours without gatting bored

a kendama is a wood toy, where you practice landing the ball on the spike, in the cups, and from there it can get quite advanced.

THIS guitar is so fun and time consuming and you can teach yourself very easily and its a solid skill to spend your time learning and you'll be stoked for life. with the kind of time you have you can be playing a ton of fun songs and feeling real legit in under a month easy
