Question about pivoting
I don't really know what to call this but I've been practicing skiing switch lately and it's going we'll other than switching back to regular, should I put pressure on the back or the front? I keep catching my edges at speed.
going from switch to regular? I guess I butter on my tails.
I call it a revert. It's just like a turn, make sure you're on your back edges and push it around. I usually just hop a switch 180. If you're just starting out then just practice going switch and then stopping, then continue going forwards. Then just link it up into one motion
Pivot on your heels when reverting sw to regular.
Okay cool, so put pressure on my tails and just sort of hop around?
This is how I learned to go back to regular, lean back and butter a bit and swing around.

Yeah man, honestly just practice going slow and you'll get it really quick
Okay sick, thanks guys, I will be sponsored within the week.
Just do a lot of slow whirly birds so you get a feel for how you should shift your weight when you're on snow. It's really that simple.

yeah itll come around real naturally after a few tries. it's easier if you don't hop and just let it come around.

Thanks for all the help, I'll take it to a mellow slope so when I fuck it up nobody notices.
