Do these boots fit you? Is the flex appropriate for you? That's really all that matters. If someone hated them because it wasn't the right boot for them, it could still be awesome for you.

Im not talking about the fit. I wand to know about the quality, and freeski compatibility. How well do they work for powder, cliffs, slackcountry...

As long as they fit and you like a 130 flex boot, they are great for whatever application you want. They lever skis up pretty effortlessly, I'm not quite sure what you are looking for. Any specific questions about performance?

This is probably what Sparta was referring to with "if the flex is right for you". If a boot is too stiff for you, it will not be good for any condition or terrain or ski choice. But if the flex is appropriate for you, it will work well in powder or trees or steeps or groomers.

As far as quality/durability goes, that is a good question to ask. Also, the boot does not have a walk mode, so that might factor in to your needs for a boot that can handle sidecountry.

I think he's just looking for a review. But it would be nice if we knew how it compares to their AOS or DuB 6's. I have the DuB 6's and always wonder if should have just saved a lil more for the AOS, or if I should up grade to them.

Its a race boot with some soft shit in the boot board.Very stout, also doesn't come bigger than 28.5 I think... not much like their 3 piece boots. My bro just got the hell and back hike pro. Its retarded and is the coolest looking boot ive ever seen.

Nordica makes extremely good quality boots. I have a pair of dead moneys and they have been fairing much better than my last pair of boots which were dalbellos. I would definitely pull the trigger on those if I were you.

It wouldn't make any sense to compare this boot to the AOS series because they are very different fits. if your foot was happy in the Girish it wouldn't be happy in an AOS. What would help us is to know is how tall/heavy the OP is and what he has used for boots in the past and how they skied. Also if the OP is a strong powerful skier or more of a technique skier who finesses the ski. Info like this would help us in gauging if the boot is a good match for his style and expectations, provided if the boot fits well first.

best fitting boots for my foot are salomon xmax 27.5, salomon ghost 120 28.5, and nordica patron pro 28.5.
the xmax has alot of play for a 98mm, i doubt its a true 98. a great fit tho, when i downsize an extra cm.

I am 6'3 185lbs. I own full tilt dogger 29.5 and there a size too large (selling them for 225). I am a very agressive skier, high advanced/expert. i need precision for trees and stiff flex for my size mixing w/ small cliffs.
