I skied for the first time Last year whilst doing a season, (I'm 18) It totally clicked and within a few days of ever standing on ski's I was in the park hitting bigger stuff than ever on my board on which I am pretty capable, I have a background of dh mtb and bmx racing so Im very comfortable in the air, nothing really phases me facing forward!
Ive just brought my first set of skis, 163 volkl kinks, and the ex rental super short cuffed rossignal boots i had given to me to use last season are horrendously painful on my shins.
I know fulltilts are the choice freestyle boot and by far the most comfortable boot ive tried (the drop kick as girls boots are quite hard to come by in the uk)
I just dont feel like Ive quite earnt them yet? I feel like I should be putting spins on and off rails ect before I deserve them? I dont know if that makes sense or I should just get them and live up to it.
other than the Fulltilt I have looked at the Atomic Medusa but Im not convinced by them.
Does any body have any advice or suggestions of a good boot, Im landing reds comfortably and getting bigger if that helps, I have a narrow foot and heel, high arch low instep and slim legs.
Cheers :)
