I had the choice to go skiing either today or tomorrow. I chose today, at least i didn't go to key today, i went A-bay instead Key only has some greens and river run open. Does anyone know if they are planning on opening anything else?

Are you referring to preseason A-bay because if not then you must be majorly stoned :) just kidding though, i would much rather ski grandpa groomers than a few overcrowded greens and river run (I'm referring to today, but as of tomorrow, i'm probably not going to A-Basin until late December)

Aw man, now i cant make up excuses for not doing park other than i suck at rails. yes i know that A51 has been open for a couple days now, but like i said i suck at rails. and i'm a pussy and don't want to try rails anymore because i broke my collarbone on one a couple seasons ago back when i was fearless.

do you ski A Basin much? I think the people there are funnier. And the waffle fries at black mountain lodge are sooooo good.

Mammoth has a legit 60 ft kicker and a shit load of rails. South Park will probably open soon with their usual triple line too

How has nobody noticed that picture is from last year?
I think they are only opening two jumps to start that is all they have pushed for landings, and it looked like they were moving on to the main line. Now if it will be open tomorrow, not sure.

What was their water line issue? If it was just a burst pipe, that is not a big deal, easy fix. Nothing that should hold up snowmaking more than 24 hours, if that. It must have been something more serious if it caused them serious lack of production

I don't know specifics. The water line issue coupled with warm temps hasn't helped. Also Breck is trying to open Freeway which takes a fuck load more snow and time then it does to make park lane or the small jumps key is making.

this is complete hearsay... buttt I heard that when Breck made that gigantic jump for Shaun White last year (which he bailed on and never used) they used too much water and got in trouble for it, hence their all around lack of snow making this year, which isn't just affecting the terrain park, it affects the whole mountain.

Yea just a heads up.

LOOK at the comments in that picture. How could people from last year comment on a picture from this year. Been up there yesterday and today. Not only does it look nothing like that, they are still a ways off from even having a deck built for jump 3. dirtylittlewhatever is just straight trollin.

If you're coming in the near future then keystone without a doubt. If you're coming later in the season then either keystone or breck you can't go wrong.
