lol, ya dude you are no one special in this instance. If you ask an odd or slightly dumb question your gonna get it, just like your best friend would lace it into you for saying stupid. If you take this out of skiing context, you just asked some people what kind of shoe works the best with the shorts you are wearing. So in answer to the entertaining question that others have eluded to: a)dont buy a boot for a ski/binding combo just cuz they are the same color, if it FITS your foot with the PROPER size, then all the more power to ya, you have a boot that was made for your ski/binding. b) As far as line boots go that kinda dissapeared a year or so ago. In that case I would go for a nice cushy boot if you are gonna be jibbin or freeskiing unless you know you want a stiff boot (harder to flex) you dont need it. Boots that would match that criteria would be Nordica's GTS/SPEED MACHINE, Dolomite's RAGE PRO, Lange's FREERIDE 120, or Rossignol's BANDIT B1. Now these are all good boots, but will all fit differently, so plz do yourself a favor and go to a store and try them, having someone who knows their ass from their elbow helping you. If they do not 'shell size' your foot, then they dont know shit, and request to have it done. That is simpily pulling the liner out and sticking your foot inside the shell, sliding your toes to the front, then looking at the space between your heel and the heel of the boot. The spacing should be about two fingers (end over end so that the pad of your middle finger rests on the nail of your index) three will be too many leaving your foot to float around in that boot, and 1 will be a racing fit. super tight non comfy fit. Alright there is your crash course in boot fitting, have fun ask me if you have any other questions.
