Yesterday the Taaka Gods were upset with me. Went to the football game. was drunk as fuck before and then i chugged a 32 oz water bottle of oj and vodka that had 18 oz of vodka, then blacked out, harassed this girl, tried to dance ate shit, threw up all over myself.

Next the doctor at the stadium comes over supposedly i said i was sober officer and he's like no I'm not a cop and then i yelled fuck the police and I'm carried out in a stretcher to the ambulance to go to the hospital.

Anyways, my friends are the best, although now i have BIT behavior intervention team that is assigned to me to get my shit together with like 2 times a week counseling, i got fines out the ass, gonna get kicked out of university housing and yeah. fucked.

this. if you finish like 5/6 of a handle of taaka by yourself. i started drinking at 10 had a few shots and two mixed drinks with a lot of alcohol, this girl who saw me said i was merked, i was feeling okay until i chugged the 18oz of vodka with 14oz of oj mixture. i had to do it fast cuz i can't bring shit into the game, thus i was so drunk. didn't even make it till the first quarter.

funniest part is i grabbed a girls knee and was like ur the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. then proceeded to throw up all over her. -- carolina girls were cowgirl boots and black dresses. needless to say i fucked her day too

pretty skeptical too. he went from being "drunk as fuck" before he had the 18 oz. to "feeling okay." not to mention the preciseness with which he is measuring everything is very odd. how the hell he knew it was exactly 18 oz. with 14 oz. of oj is beyond me. why he is mentioning it is even stranger. and why he is proud of it is even stranger still.

Sounds like you deserve all that you have coming.... Anything over like 20 ounces of liquor over a whole night is asking for it. Let alone 32 ounces in 10 minutes? Idiot.

My limit is about 8-12 ounces over the night for an enjoyable drunk... and up to 15-16ish if I want to get a bit crazy.

ok, I'm going to go nice and slow here so you can keep up. in the recent thread "Should the drinking age be lowered" (or something like that) there was a discussion regarding not lowering the drinking age (especially the drinking age for hard liquor) because young kids under the age of 21 are likely to be irresponsible with their liquor consumption. this obviously can and does have some pretty nasty consequences. it is a prime example of why the drinking age should not be lowered so as to avoid this becoming even more of a problem than it already is.

and what evidence is there that lowering the drinking age would make this more of a problem? european countries dont struggle with this kind of the thing the way america does, and the drinking age there is lower than here. unless you think europeans are just naturally smarter/more cautious than americans, the evidence seems to suggest that lowering the drinking age actually stops kids from drinking too much too fast like op did.

also, op said the only reason he drank the whole bottle at once was because he couldn't go in the stadium with it. presumably he was too young to drink and thus couldn't get passed security with the bottle. or the stadium just has that as a rule for everyone. either way, it was a rule banning alcohol that caused him to do what he did, not a rule that liberated him to drink as he pleased. presumably, had he been able to bring the drink into the stadium, he would have consumed it slower, and, thus, more safely.

no. just...no. while by lowering the drinking age we may eventually adopt a culture surrounding alcohol that is closer to that of Europe, it will by no means happen overnight. i'd guess it to be more like 10-20 years as an optimistic estimate. i don't need evidence to prove that it would be more of a problem. common fucking sense says that if suddenly a bunch of 18 year old kids are suddenly now able to go out and buy liters of vodka, instances such as that of the OP will become more prevalent.

and no, i'm guessing that there is no alcohol allowed in the stadium as is the case with most HS/College football games...yet you don't see this happening to adults now do you? they can't have alcohol in the stadium either, but you don't see them almost killing themselves because of it....

well if you don't need evidence to prove yourself right it's awfully hard to argue against you. but, if you don't need evidence, neither do i. if european kids can be safer than american kids at drinking with a lower drinking age it follows that american kids would also become safer at drinking if the legal age were lowered. what doesn't make sense about that? common sense also says that if kids could drink legally they wouldnt have to find one or two spots where they wont get caught and drink a lot in a very short amount of time there before leaving to do whatever they plan for the night. if they could drink in public without fear of getting caught they would drink slower and be able to stop when they've felt they've had enough.

this doesn't happen to adults because they can buy alcohol in the stadium. it's only banned because colleges/teams know fans want to drink and can sell alcohol at really high prices and make lots of money if they ban people from bringing their own drinks in. since adults can buy drinks they dont have to drink a shit ton before, underage kids do.

you fail to comprehend that the culture surrounding alcohol in america is completely different than it is in Europe. while yes, I'm not arguing that eventually american kids would become more responsible with alcohol, but it would not happen overnight....more like over the course of 10-20 years. During that time, you would see more instances such as that of the op.

and no, adults cannot buy alcohol in the stadium. at least not at any college stadium I've ever been to for a game. It is just as banned for adults as it is for kids, yet you don't see adults going out and almost killing themselves by slamming a handle of liquor. this is exactly why kids shouldn't be able to buy it....because this is the type of shit that happens.

give it up dude. while many kids might be responsible enough to handle it, many more are not. and unfortunately they are the ones that ruin it for the rest of you.
