If everyone had to choose one drug

to do all day everyday for the rest of our lives and we all lived together according to what drug we did, how do you think each community of drug users would act? in example i think all the alcohol users would just have a good time getting fucked up at work. maybe the weed smokers would coexist peacefully? for that matter what would all the dmt users be doing? meditating and shit?

Does getting high on life as a drug count? Honestly I think that would suck having to be stuck doing a drug for the rest of my life. I feel like I'd miss out on so much.

Does Gambling count?

Weed is the obv choice. I personally can't go more than 20 minutes without blazing when I have buds on me its one of the reasons I'm not smoking like normal since I'm a litte too old for that. Will burn heavy a few weeks a year here and there.

if everyone else was doing the drug of their choice i would probably choose weed, mainly because i imagine life would be a lot scarier and more confusing if everyone was doing drugs, and i would need some weed to relax me.

Do you not understand the breakthroughs that came from psychedelic use?

If you really want some advancement, that's something that allows people to think outside the boxes that we're put into by society.

Not saying they're good for everyone and have no harmful effects, but adderall?

I'd rather huff jenkem than do nothing but adderall for the rest of my life. Actually I huff Jenk for the thrill but regardless.

I think with the alchoholic community it would be a failed society due to hightened emotional feelings for a lot of people and there would be way to many disputes. Nothing would get done.

With marijuana it would be a lot like now, but slower, Some people work better on marijuana but a lot just get lazy. But shit idk .

With psychedelic substances (Dmt, shrooms, LSD, mescaline, etc) It wouldn't be practical at all. Since tolerance with those substances builds up quickly every day wouldn't be practical at all. But if people got equal highs every day for some odd reason, or if it was being used every week, HPPD would be effecting everyone within a couple months time leading to distorted perception of things and it would be shit. BUT If it was once a month or something and everyone in the community met together to do it, I think you could have an awesome community. Actually, I take back the every week thing. It could be done. If it did work, I think you would meet some great, insightful people. And some crazy's lol.

Opiates. (Heroin, Morphine, Opium). These I don't know much about, but despite the physical harm I did see a documentary called "Your body on drugs" which they tested people with different drug use and surprisingly the girl who was on heroin did every challenge very methodically and performed far batter than others. I think that it would actually be PLAUSABLE for a society based on opiate use to exist, although it would take a number on peoples body's so you would need a more technology based community then labor intensive.

Now for stimulants. (Cocaine, Meth). I don't think this would work at all. Maybe if the working force was stimmed, but not everyone. Long term projects don't seem like they would work out. Not very practical.

Ecstasy, I don't know ware this should go BUT I think this might work. I'm not sure how It would work with the labor, but It might work well since ecstasy has a tendency to putting you into a sort of trance with physical movement. Also, the community would be very understanding I'm sure, do to ecstasy's usefulness in therapy and recovering supressed emotions. It would be interesting.

As for deliriants (Dph, Ketamine?). NO. But it would be hilarious. Maybe.

pysschadelics are fun. but for me they are something you should do every once in a while so I wouldn't want to be stuck with just psych's for my entire life. weed is fun, but i've smoked so much that it's not appealing anymore.

too much coke is bad as well but if used properly i think its the funnest drug. psychadelics help me learn the most about myself.

but if just 1 drug i would stick with alcohol. alcohol is just the best, and everyone uses it so it's easy to assimilate with others.

with molly/ ecstasy there would never be any disputes. everyone would be everyones best friend. as for productivity, not so sure about that. people would be too busy having the time of their lives to even consider anything else. the feelings of peace and unity could help though

ketamine would be hilarious to watch but productivity would be completely gone. everyone would be either way too chilled, completely out of their mind or just passed out on the floor.

personally id choose alcohol, simply cos its the one i know my limits best with

the Molly one is true except for

A) When everyone begins to come down everyone becomes the opposite - closed minded, paranoid, cranky.

B) when everyone just does too much they fuck their brain up and have trouble experiencing good feelings


Molly for me is a once or twice a year thing. it's definitely not good for your brain.

pot- all be a non violent society... and future entrepreneurs and herbologists.

coke- they would get shit done! and fast. besides the frequent heart attacks and household abuse.

meth- sketchy town. everyones lawns would never be cut and the risk of fire would be pretty bad...plus kids running around everywhere.

acid and shrooms - never ending music festival. and occasional suicide.

E- dance club and dehydration...orgy also.

heroin- zombie land. hep c ville. wouldnt want to live in heroinville.

alcohol- household abuse. car accidents and funny times...but a dangerous liver intoxicating society.

dmt- vomit and 6th sense shit. life experiences all the time.

i could go on and on but ill stop there

Lol I think the best communities would be

-Alch (obvious reasons)
-Weed (obvious reasons)
-Salvia or DMT (this would be fun to watch)
-Adderall (no one sleeps, lots of dehydration, shit would be weirdly perfect)
-MDMA (after a while everyone would be a perma-fried zombie tho)
-coke (until addiction fully sets in)

groups that would be great to watch because of how sad and pitful theyd be
-Heroin
-Meth
-Crack
-Pharms (mainly opiates)
-PCP

Eh, I'd be good without drugs. If I had to choose one, then it'd be weed, but I'm kinda over it and don't really think of it as a "drug" because it's nothing compared to real drugs which I'm not into.

Most drugs the tolerance builds up so quickly society would function pretty normally after a couple of months if doses weren't increased.
