Ive been to a lot of places, i travel a lot for work, and just like to go to cool places in general. ive been all over europe, canada, australia, and parts of south america.
generally what ive started to realize about europe is that its pretty much like anywhere else, you go to a bad area, it sucks, you go to a good area, its great. the UK is pretty much like the US but with accents, I do not like the attitude a lot of them seem to share, it can be pretty snobby, cynical, and actually pretty hard to avoid there, similar to a lot of canada, oregon and boulder CO. so ive never really cared much for the UK, pretty meh.
germany is cool, as far as the people, they seem dickish at first, but once you are around them awhile you realize a lot of them just are not into being overly social and might just want to keep to themselves. once you realize that they are easy people to get a lot with.
Switzerlands an awesome area, people are pretty nice, couldnt live there though.
France is alright, if you go to an average or bad area your experience will be terrible, but if you go to the right places and meet the right people it can be great. the french can be so f-ing annoyingly rude, but when they are nice and helpful, they are some of the coolest people.
Italy is ok, the history everywhere is really cool, but other than that i didnt care for it much.

really europe is just like the US, you go to the wrong area in the US and it sucks, you go to the right area in the US and its awesome.
I will say that i wouldnt want to live in any other country, i love it here so much. so many amazing areas. and really as far as culture and people go, if you go to the right areas in the south, alabama, SC, tennessee, texas, etc.. the southern hospitality and general attitude is the shit, they are the nicest people you will ever meet, know how to have fun better than anyone, everything about that culture is awesome.
