Alright so first off some background info. I'm 5'6 and 120lbs. I ski probably 65%-85% park depending on conditions. In the park I do 60% jumps and 40% rails. I ski at Granite Peak, Wisconsin. I'm wondering which ski is lighter, more bang for my buck, and which is easier to butter. Thanks in advance for all answers. +k for helpful posts.
both are very light. halo feels a little softer all around, but the t hall is very soft in the tip and tail. i personally prefer the t hall for butters because of the tip shape. but the halo is a fun rail ski. thall is more normal on jumps. frankly, i dont think u will be unhappy with either one. both are good in their own right.
i like my t-hall but my friend likes his halos.
its a matter of whether or not you like a stiff ski (halo) or a more buttery ski (t-hall). but either way you cant go wrong
