Ski Advice

Just wanted some advice on what skis I should get. I am coming back from a serious knee injury and am prolly not going to be doing as much in the park as before so I am looking for a versatile all mountain twin.

I am in the midwest (Ohio) so I am looking for something that could carve good on the ice and crud we get here as well as be a good jump ski. Considered the Alpha 1 and the Ar7. Give me your thoughts on those or some other options that you think would be good.

Basically looking for a good carving twin that is stable on jumps. Prolly wont be doing to many rails anymore.

ar7 is money on jumps. super stable at speed. can't go wrong there.

What about the Pipe Cleaner?

Solomon Twenty Twelve (not sure I want to go back to a 90mm underfoot for what I am looking for)?

Rossi S4/Scratch?

Liberty LTE?

Leaning toward the AR7 but figured I would through these out there and see what people had to say.

I had the s4 jibs, fantastic jump ski, low swing weight, plenty of camber, good grip, and surprisingly really good at dampening bad landings (over or under shooting jumps). There only weakness was edge strength so after a season of rail abuse most of the positive atributes kinda went away for me, but if you don't plan on skiing mostly rails I highly recommend them. Walls a good option to if you want a symmetrical ski over a near-twin like the rossis and armadas.

I'm about your size, and love Alpha 1s. They're stiff enough to be stable landing hard over 70+ foot jumps (especially switch), and the low swing weight lets em spin like a top. They're the best carving park ski I've ever ridden, but I haven't skied AR7s, which I've heard also carve really well. I've taken a few laps through a GS course on Alpha 1s, and they do start to chatter to a scary point at really high speeds.

Amplid C7 - can't find alot of info on this ski but what I see I really like. Seems like it would hold an edge well on the midwest ice and would carve well but would also be a nice park ski. Any input on this idea?
