I'm a jumps guy. I don't ski park much these days, but when I did, I was a huge pipe jock. I would ski pipe from open till around 1pm or so and hit jumps and the odd rail till the light turned flat.

Now, living in BC, there's no pipes, so it's just jumps and rails. A well built jump just can't be beat.

I like both equally, but its nice that you can hit rails for a way longer chunk of the season than good jumps.

I'm better at rails though.

jumps r sooo much better...and plus ur twice as stoked when u stomp a trick on a jump for the first time because it makes u feel like ur nasty. anybody can stomp a rail trick btw, dont get me wrong i love rails and i know it sounds weird but it hurts a lot more when u fall on a rail too

this, every east coast skier are better at rails but I prefer jumps because I shred rails all year long but can only hit jumps during winter(2-3months)

This, I will try any rail I see, not with jumps though, but I sacked up for it and hot the 50?ish foot inferno jump at mount snow this year, mad sketchy on 155 afterbangs bit I got it. But yeah im a pussy at jumps and cant do shit /entrant

IMO rails are more frustrating, they hurt more, and theyre less fun

i like jumps mostly cuz of the adrenaline factor that rails just dont really deliver. stomping a new jump trick is the best feeling
