i was watching clips from 02 and 03 x games slopestyle and that shit was weak...i coulve won. i mean it was sick back then and the progression skiing has made is badass but where the fuck was i? i couldve had a gold medal in my pocket

that said, i wish the song was still shook ones pt. 2. but i'd have to imagine it was just easier to use this song than license mobb deep or something

Like someone else said, thats 3/4 of our sport. And he still slays slopestyle, just doesn't drop edits on it. He styling through the park in the THC episode.

Here's the one with the original song.

This is the alternate Tanner edit from 1242, not the actual segment in the movie. Pretty similar, but this is longer with more B footage in it. This segment (and the rest of the movie) changed skiing forever. Tanner and Pep on the X Games podium, how sick is that! Good old days.

Shook Ones has a permanent place on my ski playlist, and the gorilla steeze cork 3 has a permanent place in my heart. Thank you Tanner.

Skiing definitely owes a lot to Tanner for the development of style in park skiing. He might look old-fashioned to some of you younguns, but think about this: ten years ago T-Hall had E-Dollo status as far as style was concerned, but he was also winning every comp around T-Wall style.


I was pretty excited to hear that Tanner and Iberg are gonna make a movie with B&E. Should be dope!

I tried to buy a super old tanner hall poster off the wall of a ski shop yesterday. I think he made a huge impact on skiing. Awesome edit.

not really, just saying it's too bad that a lot of kids now haven't seen arguably the best/most influential ski movie of all time. can't really blame them if they're younger, but it's just such a solid film
