In another post I mention a friend that OD'd and how I think we should continue to fight the war on drugs. Here is what the piece of shit D-Loc had to say

Yes my friend chose to take the drugs but if they weren't here in the first place it would have never have happened. Tell me how it feels when you lose a best friend to drugs, you piece of shit!

So what are you guys argueing that the government should keep drugs illegal so it saves lives? If youre friend is a big enough moron to try hardcore drugs then he is a big enough moron to do other things that are harmful...like jump off highway overpasses. Do you need the government to making jumping off objects onto concrete too so youre dumbass friends dont hurt themselves? Nor would there be deaths in automobiles were there no automobiles, nor any gun deaths were there no guns, and so on and so on. Anyways, if your friend chose to take drugs, he put himself at risk of death. He chose to put himself at that risk. There's no way he could've been ignorant of the possible effects given that they're plastered all across mainstream media. It's a shame, of course, but you have to understand that he is responsible for his own actions, and society can't coddle everyone throughout life and figuratively 'hide the poisonous stuff from the baby' forever. At some point, you grow up, you make our own decisions, andlive with the consequences. In this case, he had total control over that decision. No one forced him to take drugs. You don't do them just because they're there. Don't blame society for those choices. The whole point of the system is freedom to make your own, informed, decisions.

Ok fine. Then having a heart attack is an individual's fault to because that person ate to much McDonald's. So since that person ate to much and decided not to care for their bodies, lets not help them out. Lets let them suffer for their actions.

Hell next time someone slips and falls on ice and busts the skull open on a corporate sidewalk lets blame them. Sure the company could have done their job and salted the sidewalks and shoveled them, but hey they person chose to walk on the ice, and we all no how ice is slippery. That person just must be a moron for walking on the ice. Let them be, don't help them.

So all of you speaking against me don't think saving one more person from dying or ODing is worth it? If thats not worth it, think about the healthcare costs. Drug use and ODing jacks up the rates. One of many reasons healthcare is less affordable these days.

Anyways, no one said we don't HELP them, but it was still their own decisions, the consequqneces of which they knew, that led to whatever problem they had. McDonald's guy shouldn't have eaten all of those big macs. He knew what would happen. Sure, you help him recover from the heart attack, but that doesn't make it any less his fault.

drugs coming into our country in moderation is alright, can't stop it. and the WOD helps moderate what comes in. so i feel d-loc is wrong. we do need the WOD. and i must side with graves

drugs will never truely be off the market.drugs serve no purpose at all but to destroy the body. a war on drugs is not the war all of you think it is.

general scenarios:
-seal teams board a known coke transporting ship, hose the drugs down, and arrest the crew

-ranger teams fly into a drug cartel, and set explosive charges, shutting down the manufacturing plants

-USCG sailors board a suspiscious ship, arrest the crew

-boarder patrol guard dogs sniff drugs, they detain and arrest the carriers

sure, we'll always have drugs, but we can help curb the supply
