What's the best place to mount bindings on sir francis bacon skis?
on the top...
Honestly taking a shit is the next biggest hassle to not skiing - Andy Parry
i would suggest something around -2 from center. you really dont want to center mount a pow ski, even if you think you are going to be riding switch. keep your weight back on the ski like its meant to be. anything from traditional to -2 should work just fine. i work in a shop fwiw.
Your new so I'll be helpful before ya get a steady stream of hate. First, this should be in gear talk. You'll get better responses. Second, mine are mounted at the midsole mark which is -2.5 from center. If I were to do it over again I'd probably mount at -1 of center. Not a huge difference but would prob be perfect for me. If your going to use them for all mountain and pow though I'd say midsole.
A ski shop?
I think my favorite sport in the Olympics is the one in which you make your way through the snow, you stop, you shoot a gun, and then you continue on. In most of the world, it is known as the biathlon, except in New York City, where it is known as winter. ~Michael Ventre, L.A. Daily News
