I posted in regionals but thought i would throw this out here as well:
I am up at snowbird right now (iron blossom lodge) and the mountain is closed until 10:30 they are saying (Alta as well).
they have been blasting here about every minute or two for an hour now.
there is 23 inches of snow out there and the the canyon is closed due to a 13 foot avalanche covering the road we hear.
whats the word in salt lake? does anybody know if the road is being cleared?
