Hey, I recently found this website, advocating for donations to pay for sarahs medical bills. At first I thought this was an actual charity set up in sarahs name. Unfortunately its not. They are asking YOU to pay for sarahs medical bills, which to be honest, i find offensive and objectionable.


I believe that sarahs sponsors should be fully accountable for the medical costs. If im not mistaken, she has had very large sponsership contracts in the past, making her millions of dollars ...


I advocate newschoolers to please NOT donate to giveforward.com , but instead invest in local ski programs for under-privileged youth, medical research , environmental causes, or any major charity in HER name. that she would be PROUD of ..

Im offended because I think this website is taking advantage of the death of sarah burke which has gone viral. I believe that this website is getting in the way of doing really amazing things for the truly underprivileged people on this earth. Not paying the medical bills of a wealthy person..

I got sort of a weird vibe from that site too, read the donator comments and shit. Its alittle off.

ya thats the thing. it just doesnt seem right . its like the family is just asking for money for themselves. it seems out of character. I would have expected them to set up a REAL charity, or donations for a ski program/event in her name...

OH and For ANYONE that thinks im being a dick, or giving bad vibes. HERE IS a website that will do AMAZING things with your money, and actually proves that many donations that are collected online are actually devious, unethical and dishonest.

i can't comment on what you said, but i just took a look at sarah's sponsors... monster, roxy, whistler/blackcomb, swix, smith... those are some huge companies, i know money doesnt grow on trees but you'd think they would be able to step up and at least pay a significant amount of the bill...i mean, shit, i can't imagine the remainder of her contracts with those companies isnt bigger than the medical bill

Don`t worry about it, you don`t need to post about "Dont give money to her",  they probably all know what the money is going to if they went to the site in the first place...
