Fuck Vegetarianism!!

Today has been bullshit. I normally eat pounds of burnt dead animal per day(literally pounds) and i love it.

today, the little cafe at work only had veggie breakfast burritos left, so i had one of those, then at lunch i ordered a carnitas burrito from una Mas, and when i unwrap it at my desk it turns out to be a fucking veggie burrito. FUCK VEGETABLES!! I had a snack of oatmeal, and now i come home to find out that my roommate made quiche, and tofu soup for dinner(his turn to make dinner). FUCK THIS!!! i have been tired and hungry all day. Ive been trying to drop some upperbody mass lately, but todays diet is fucking wack. tomorrow i am going to have salty, fatty, burnt dead animal at every meal.

This was the first, only, and last day that i have ever not had animal products to eat. NEVER AGAIN!

Cool. I haven't eaten meat since September 2011, problem? People who have problems with other peoples diets annoy me. It doesn't effect you. Does me not eating meat change your life in anyway? Do I get disgusted by you eating? No. My girlfriend eats meat, and I don't care, I don't tell her she shouldn't. People have their reasons for their diets, and it works for them.

I went to a slaughter house and it was one of the single hand most traumatizing experiences of my life.  Too this day I can still remember and sometimes smell the smell of the slaughterhouse.  After going to the slaughterhouse I went to the facility that uses up all the other scraps and creates dog food.  The worst smell I have ever smelt.  I cringe every time I drive near the facilities.

I used to love eating meat, Then I decided to become veggie and I missed it for about a week and now after a year I could honestly never go back, the thought of eating meat makes me want puke, weirdest thing. Anyways, Everyone here just needs to chill, by not feeding the meat industry vegetarians are making the pow turns deeper.

No hate on people who choose to not eat meat. I eat meat everyday and unless it's fast food I have only eaten store bought meats a handful of times. My entire family raises pigs, chickens, cows (thankfully not my immediate family) and I can honestly say store bought meat tastes awful compared to what i am used to eating.

Well it doesn't make everyone one's stomach turn so learn to deal with people's choices. Learn to respect each others opinion and stop being so pushy.

God this is why i hate vegans in particular, because ALL VEGANS Do IS BITCH. If you are a vegetarian, good for you keep it to yourself. If you eat meat, i can understand that you enjoy the taste of meat.

I haven't eaten any meat since August, idk why I stopped but its been pretty easy. Haven't lost any weight, which I don't want to, and my strength numbers were still going up before I cut back on lifting for skiing season. I don't think I could ever do a vegan diet tho

Jeezus I couldn't even think about not eating meat, I just cooked a nice pork tenderloin a little while ago. I work in a grocery store meat department though so the dead raw animal thing is kinda normal to me.

I agree with you that nothing beats a nice juicy grass-fed steak. However, vegetarian eating is not "shitty food". On a student budget I have found that I have been eating MUCH better not just in terms of healthiness but also taste. There are so many awesome vegetarian dishes that are so much better than your average meat-dish. Just because you choose to not eat meat does not mean you have to live the rest of your life eating salad, tofu and processed soy foods. I have not eaten tofu in probably a month and when I did it was deep-fried and greasy hangover food. I think the last time I ate a salad was like saturday night.

To meat aren't just tofu. Last time I had tofu, it was garlic fried and delicious. I do eat salads, I eat a ton of fruits and veggies. Dinners are usually pasta, mac and cheese (made some with broccoli last night, Omnomnom), soups, rice, stir fry, pizzas. I can go on and on. It's cheaper than meat, the first month I started as a veggie, I felt so healthier. People look at me and would never think I'm a veggie pussy. Why do so many people have problems with what other people eat?

I have a vegetarian friend who makes "sandwiches" consisting of two slices of bread, two slices of cheese, and a shitload of mayo. It makes me cringe.

actually had this exact discussion today with my friend whos been vegan for like 4 years now, doing it out of ethical reasons. In my opinion the world would be a better place if people would just stop having so many goddamn opinions about stupid, insignificant things as what other people eat. He never tries to "convert me", and the other vegans I hang out with dont care either whether I'm eating meat or not, I honestly do not know a single fanatic vegan trying to change my or other people's habits.

OP, its not like you are dying of malnutrition being forced to eat a meat-less diet for a day, grow up.

But, stereotypically speaking, the US especially is full of people who DROWN YOU in their beliefs, opinions and reasons why YOU are wrong.

That could be one of the reasons people hate on... well, anything differing from the norm when compared to 'normal' habits over there. While there are pricks and douches alike all over the world, the people of many other Western countries don't really sag on other people as much as I see/hear that happens over there.

yeah its like my sister who used to eat lettuce and tomato on a bun. how is that even satisfying?

not to mention how awful would soup be if it had no chicken or beef in it, or breakfast without bacon. life just isn't complete without at least a little bit of meat thrown in. if you want to eliminate big ass pieces of steak, go for it, but no meatballs with spaghetti, no chicken caesar salad, no sandwich meat, no pepperoni pizza. fuck that.

For school lunches I can't think of any sandwhiches. I usually just put some sort of nut butter (usually cashew) and some sort of fresh fruit sliced on the other side (this time of years its apples and pears). I need some ideas! I usually don't do sandwhiches though, i just bring a salad or soup. I do love me a nice fresh crisp salad!

When I'm not at school i will usually get creative and make delicious meals.

There are tons of good sandwiches made without meat. Some of my favourites are hummus, fallafal, and greek salad.
