wtf newschool telemarking?

I saw some pictures yesteday in some magizine and since when are telemarkers sliding rainbow rails and hitting 60 footers? not really sure why anyone would want to have their heels unattached from their bindings just buy a real pair of skis.

Did you know that Andreas Hatviet tele skied for about five years before he began alpiine skiing again.... I did the same thing and I just begun alpine skiing again,,,,, you are a fucking tool raging on tele skiers.... i promise that I could slay your bitch ass any day on tele skis so stop frontin like an IGNANT BITCH

i think  most people tele in the park because on the rest of the mountain they telemark and find it more enjoyable and have no reason to switch for park

read ced's interview on the homepage, its a good lesson for all you kids. Just because something is different doesn't mean you need to hate...we should have more acceptance as a community of people with different sytles, and not all be the same cookiecutter skier image...be yourself. Hell if people that are telemarking are having a blast why the hell should they stop.
