This setup should be fine for you, trade out the trucks if you want, I put on tensors just cause I've never had a problem with them. Don't get a board with resin, their heavy and not anymore durable. Also for bearings get bones reds, defiantly the best bearings for the price (20 bucks).
And have fun with it, don't take it too seriously, that's where people start hating skateboarding and quit. It's not like skiing in the sense you can't take some laps and hit most features without any effort, it takes a lot of skill to be able to cruise around a skate park and just hit features. First off you should work on getting a strong ollie and being able to ride it around pumping tranny and whatnot, then start working on flip tricks, grinds, gaps and stalls, basically any order you want. After you have some basic tricks, going around the parks and hitting everything you can is just about the funnest thing you can do, you don't ne to be all that good to have fun. I've seen people get better than me in months after starting, Ive been skating since 08? I think haha and quit a few times in between because I took it too seriously and wasn't having fun.
So get a board, your friends and head out to the skate park or the streets and don't listen to anyone who says you suck or their better than you, just have fun. Skaters are some of the most judgmental people, at least around here anyways, so keep your head up, ignore them, and stick with it.
