I just saw this in chairlift diaries maybe 2012/2013 nordica skis...TJ pro model?

Video with all MFD info.. New things from them:
- Marker compatible Alltimes
- Meathook crampons (Hike nasty mountains even in 14 degree climbing mode)
- Switch Plate system (you can install baseplates on all your skis and switch over your Alltimes +bindings

A big advantage of this system, and I have never heard anyone on here about it, is this system is a lot safer than Dukes, new Solly/Atomic and Tyrolia tourbindings. All those toe pieces have very small travel even though DINs go up to 16.. With MFD you can use very safe and solid bindings + most stiff touring setup you can get witch also works much easier and faster..

The new Tracker/Guardian binding will have a lot of elastic travel in both the toe and the heel. I will dig up the amount from the binding guys for everyone here.

^The Tracker/Guardian binding has 36mm of elastic travel in the toe and 20mm of elastic travel in the heel. Definitely competitive in the alpine market.

I have them and they're heavy as hell. Awesome for short trips and high performance skiing, but awful for long treks out. I love my MFDs, but I'll also be investing in a Dynafit setup here soon.

Shure, me too, but those are two different things demanding different setups.. For long ski touring you also wont use Moment Bibbys for example..

Why not? I mean sure, no trips up McKinley or anything, but a Dynafit setup on even a typical pow ski will make a huge difference. I'd say it cuts trekking time in half in most cases.

hey has anyone seen next year's smith haze helmet? cos i saw nick goepper's and it had the whole rasta graph thing goin for it just like the POC's t-hall receptor bug. is that just like a dalbello sticker or did they realy slap on a rasta graphic?

not that big of a deal...
the Dalbello rep came in yesterday and hooked me up with a pair of next years Il Moro's, probably one of the most uncomfortable boots I've ever worn, I have a medium foot with a small heel so my feet are killing after about 3 minutes, but my heels still slide around like mad dogs. So I put the Intuition liner in my Ace of Spades and I'm in LOVE with how much better my Nordica's fit

Yup the ar7s alternate between red and green every size. He probably had 176s instead of 181s.
