ummmm your landings are just super smooth? just do speed checks after a landing by lightly going sideways alittle to shed some of that speed. if your not hurting yourself when you land i dont see what the problem is
This is one of the reasons why people say it is good to learn the fundamentals of skiing before you really start to ski the park a lot. Go out and ski the mountain a little and you won't be scared, and will be very comfortable and in control at any speed.
by super smooth i mean your landing in the sweetspot of the landing (not overshooting to flat or knuckling short) which is good. pop will not affect your takeoff speed horizontally, but should keep you in the air for a tad longer, which would make you go farther.
but yea the speed is just something to get used to and aslong as you dont overshoot the next jump then that speed is a good thing just stay in control
Your question is a little unusual. But it sounds to me like you're uncomfortable with the speed needed for landing a particular jump, so you naturally tend to lean back after landing. When you lean way back you lose most control and balance. Maybe that's why your falling?
maybe you should get lighter gear and loose a layer of clothing. are you fat? do you carry rocks with you when you ski?
have you tried turning?
I've always wanted to bring rocks with me when building booters so I could go faster than I normally would during the in run... Grab a big rock, ski down the in run, ditch rock and hit the jump. Go faster and further with less hiking. It's just so damn hard to find rocks in the winter.

dust the snow off your skis, and head out for the chair, and it doesn't matter
that you failed a test, didn't get the girl, or that your life is on a one way
trip down the shitter, your world is right for the next couple of hours."
then again, they are kinda slutty, but i dont look at it that way, more like an opportunity that you need to put forth minimal effort to gain the full advantage of
Are you talking about park jumps or things like cliffs? On cliffs, it's easy to get a lot of speed on the landing because you accelerate or at least dont slow down in the air, and then are often going faster than you might want in the terrain that you're skiing upon landing, thus making it easy to feel out of control or like you're going too fast.

We were all expecting something GRAND for our massive efforts down the line. Needless to say, all the money went to drive us 100km from home and play frisbee golf for a week at a "resort" aimed for trips for retarded people"
