I-DOSING IS THE USE OF AUDITORY TONES IN AN ATTEMPT TO ALTER CONSCIOUSNESS IN WAYS THAT CREATES A SIMULATED MOOD OR EXPERIENCE, SUCH AS TO MIMIC RECREATIONAL DRUGS. THE TECHNIQUE INVOLVES PLAYING TWO DIFFERENT TONES SIMULTANEOUSLY TO PRODUCE A PERCEIVED TONE INSIDE THE HEAD, IN ORDER TO ALTER BRAINWAVES.
basically an auditory drug.

Wow. If you really zone out and close your eyes and listen to that, there is a very noticeable change when you hit 1:50. I got all kinds of nervous and freaked out, turned it off after 15 seconds of that crackling and new noise. Didn't believe it was going to work, impressive.
i know that watching a white noise picture along with a repetitive and continous sound (over an extended period) forces the brain to somewhat fill that hole in external information and leads to hallucinations for certain people
in all seriousness, i read that 3 times, 1st time i thought what the fuck is he on about, read it again and thought, this fuckbag has to be kidding, read it once more and decided calling you a fuckbag wasnt good enough - sick-as-aids
Electromagnetic waves encapsulate a very broad thing, but not brain waves. Electromagnetic waves include everything from microwaves, to visible light to gamma radiation, but not brain waves. I think it could work. This seems to make fine sense to me. Same principle as, for instance, suspenseful music in a scary movie, but taken a step further to make the visual part of the equation unnecessary.
