Afterbang tips

Ok so I can do tricks but while I'm in the air I like like a deer trying to freestyle...basically I flail around a lot. Also after I land I can't seem to look steezy. Just asking for some pointers.

Haha, interesting analogy. Just practice a lot and get more comfortable, let the style come to you and for god's sake don't try to afterbang you will look like a boner.

You can if you want but I wouldn't worry about it. Style comes from being comfortable, being comfortable comes from spending time in the park. Just keep skiing and it will work itself out.

stop learning tricks
instead learn to do tricks you already know smoother and feel more awesome
if you feel like your style gets better, it probably is, or just film every once in a while, find what you don't like about your style, and fix it

If you are hucking 7s, try doing slow and steezy and controlled 3s and 5s. Easy style it.

its all about the grab. doesnt even matter if you get a grab in, just tuck your legs and it'll smoothe you out like nobodys business

tyrol and cascade are both closer than devils head, are bigger with better parks. 30-40 footers. Better runs too. Check out ragin buffalo in algonquin, its all park. Chestnut in galena IL has one of the best midwest parks imo. Hit up the regional forums for more info!

Yup, Ive been to all those palces except tyrol...i didn't like chestnut at all as far as jumps go...their landings were too steep

Make sure you pop and are patient with your spins. Straight hucking any spin looks shitty, you will land back seat and your arms will flail. Just be super patient coming up to the jump, spot out, go for the spin and grab and stomp it.

Practice on straight air's, suck your knee's up and just push your legs down right when you're about to land, I sort of press the tails into the snow a little bit so im landing backseat a little for extra steeze and a little heavy head never hurt anyone.
