Bringing a George Foreman grill to the mountain?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'm wondering if anyone does this regularly? Bringing a little grill like the one pictured below, bringing some hot dogs in a lunch box with ice packs, find an outlet, and then cooking 'em up? How does it work out for you?

it might sound dumb, but do they give off any steam or smoke that may set off a fire alarm?

I had one of those portable bbqs bike locked into my truck for a few years. It was easy to stop on the way up get some hot dogs and hamburgers. Ski back and take an hour off for lunch. Ultimately I just stopped taking it and now its on the porch, need to get it back there for those spring days coming up.

Use one of those coleman grills in the parking lot.
Or if you have an outlet on your car use the forman grill.

i wanna bring a grill to the mtn so bad now hahah. such a good idea. like a 12 pack of sodas and like 10 burgers or so. great lunch at the hill when its warm and sunny out

im pretty sure they are, and thats a major point of the concept, but yea they do give off some smoke, and make sure you dont forget the little grease tray or your gonna have a greasy mess on your hands.

back in the days when we'd all go the mountain as a big drunk group we'd always have a plethora of beers and a pizza oven that you can plug into your car. we'd ski a total of like an hour all day

i used to do this all the time. we would bring up a bunch of bread and cheese and make grilled cheese. its definitely a really good idea.

In the spring the lifties at my hill will have a small grill going and if you give them a couple bucks or a pack of burgers you could get one every lift ride.

ha well i do, especially these days. but back then it was 5 of us hitting waterville, where you either ski park, bomb groomers, or drink beer/have a 3 hour "lunch"

charcoal grill is the way to go. packs up in the trunk/bed of your truck and requires no outlets.
