frontflip. landed backseat, backslapped (super soft pow), then got up onto my feet. then my skis sunk and i fell over.

i guess the first flip i ever tried was a rodeo that same day, but those were such terrible attempts that i don't even count them.

backflip, first time I tried was in 7th grade, over rotated and slammed on my head/back and got a minor concussion. Didn't try one until two seasons later when I stomped it first try.

(snowboarding) i did some weird barrel roll thing and landed it first try on some weird like hip. but never did it again

Backflip, stomped. But it took me 22 years to even try it.

If you can do em on trampolines and you're moderately athletic, you can do them anywhere.

Backflip in my backyard. didnt have nearly enough speed so my tips caught the lip of the jump and i few into the snow. stomped next try.

Overflip back when I was 16. Just off a little cornice drop.
I was so incredibly happy when I landed it first try.

tiny jump. first try misty, second and third try were frontflips. landed on my ass and skis shot off into woods. hit my friends actual jump after that and landed a front flip first try.

this is gonna be the case with me

i know i can do one and they're not super difficult tricks i'm just too big of a pussy to commit to one

i much much much prefer doing frontflips though, even on trampolines and diving boards i'm not super comfortable going back

I was at keystone with my friends and we were just having a normal day starting to throw some threes and sevens and what not on big line. Key had just put in a new jump that was like a step up type thing with like a jump over a wall i dunno it was crazy but the landing was really easy so at lunch my friend was like dude we should try fronts today and me and my other friend were like yeah . . .haha totally dude . . .but we didnt think we would actually do them so we got outta lunch and got to the top of that new jump and my friend was like seriously guys lets do it so we were like ok if you go first. . . . so we all got our tunes in and got ready . . . my first friend goes . . . lands it first try . . . second friend goes . . . throws lie a misty 7 and dies . . . .then i go and land on my back but it didnt hurt at all so we all went back up and stomped them the second try and did them the rest of the day

Same. I have had some bad experiences with hitting my head on a diving board and falling of a trampoline doing backflips so i am kinda sketched out to try them again.

haha yeah it felt soo good, then i saw i was like a foot from the ground haha. but there was about 4 feet of fresh powder so it didnt even hurt at all landing on my head

that would have been sick on a bigger jump though

i tried a random somersault on a roller not intentionally but for fun and then next run i actually tried a front flip and landed backseat off it

blackflip which i over rotated but stomped the next time. i dont get what it is with people always wanting to try forward tricks like frontflips or mistys they are so much harder to do

racing... i fell in a super G and went inverted. didnt land it tho...
but forst intentionally was out of the pipe and i backfliped and under rotated but got one ski down, then tipped over.  then i got it my second time and left it at that.

backflip. stomped it.

not too hard though if youve hucked gainers off cliffs before. thats way more scary than just leaning back on skis. you actually have to throw your head back toward the cliff and kick your knees up. not an easy thing to do for the first time..
