Steamboat Springs

Yo my and my friends are going to shred apart Steamboat Springs in a week or so. We are also filming. Does anybody know where the best spots for filming/ripping would be? Any ideas?

We usually take the rightmost chair and ski down to the end of Roger's Run. From there you can hike up and left for about..300 meters and you'll get to some really nice trees and a few small cliffs, we call 'em The Cradle.

As for park, they lack in that department, but there are some decent-sized jumps around!

go to the christmas bowl  hella fun and the hike inst too bad.  sometimes the chutes can get kinda icy.

Morningside area is great fun. Pony Express is a blast too. The park is decent this year and there are some big booters.

The whole morning side lift area is good
also, If you hike all the way up to North st. Pats, there is an opening in the gate that some people call "Wayrights" or something like that. My cousin is from there and took me into it one time.
It was the cat's pajamas

go up morningside and hike up you'll find good cliffs and if you find a nice spot on no name or st pats you could make a litlle jump. If your looking for some park they don't have tons of good jumps but i love the superpipe and the rails afterward

pitch one and two of east face... Specifically million dollar drop. if you guys have avy gear and want to get real wild continue down pitch 3 and into the canyon. But seriously don't try to go into the canyon unless your a very good skier and you find someone that knows where they are going to follow. Its very easy to get cliffed out 80 feet or get lost.

sry for double post but first drop in this video is million dollar. Rest of the shots are out on buff pass. Hike up to east face and stay left-ish through the gate. theres a few good drops back there. Also know of some really good inbounds pillow stash's but my friends out there would probably be pissed if i posted there location on NS.

Chute 1, 2, and 3 along with east face or North St. Pats. As for park, theirs has always been pretty bad until the previous year. They have some crazy features however small the park is.

the locals feed the birds on morning side lift so i you stick your hand out like you have  birdfeed in it and stay very still, the birds will come and perch on your arm for a bit. also morning side was really cool not very steep but fun trees and theres a lift so its all good

I know you guys are gonna say don't go to steamboat to ski park, but in the spring when Im there i like to have afternoon park laps. So...where is the big jump line this year? Last years were fun when they were located just to the left of the chair (beside the pipe). I know previous years (08,09) were on the far side of bashor and I found those to be not as good. Also how many big jumps are in the line this year and what sizes?

jump line is pretty much right under bashor lift

i think its 3 right now, the third was down for a while because of the skicross course, but i think its back

looked like they might be building some new stuff though
