they look at americans as bigots and probably view republicans as bigots because we dont want mexicans to get into america.

because its about 100 times easier  for a mexican to get into america and eventually gain citizenship than it is for anybody to get into alot of european countries and get citizenship.

if europe is so great with its socialized medicine, why dont they import africa and half of mexico and see if socialized medicine is still affordable.

especially when mexicans send all their money back to mexico instead of reinvesting it in the community they work in.

I consider myself Anarcho-Capitalist, and I see truly free market as the best route to a stable, moral society. Needless to say, I'm completely against socialism. However, if you blame a poor economy, and thus a poor job market, society, etc. on Mexican immigrants, you are a racist.

If I were going to talk about European and American racism....just look at Euro soccer leagues. It's one of the most racist places on Earth. Kind of well known too, so once again I don't get this thread.

Again a very vague statement. There is racism in some Spanish leagues I think? Not sure on this.
But in the UK there is zero racism in the football leagues, at least I've never seen any. If you can show me some I'll shut up.

just so you know, we're more generous because a lot of europe's countries have their governments take care of the homeless so the homeless don't have to get their money from random people.... in the end it actually makes them seem more generous as it's everyone having to donate and not just randoms that get approached by homeless people... fucking idiot.

I'm calling troll.


But just for the hell of it:

1) It is easier for impoverished folks to move to European countries than it is for Mexicans to get to USA. Why? All EU states have open borders. So some poor ass pollack can go to England and get on welfare. Add to this that a lot of EU nations have or have had colonies; Jamaicans and Algerians and Indians and Malayans all migrate to England, France, etc very easily, and then are free to move about border-less Europe. Throw into this mix the fact that many liberal EU states accept tons of asylum seekers, and you end up with a lot more poor migrants in Europe than Mexicans in the US

2) Europeans pay out a lot more welfare to their poor than we do. Medicaid/foodstamps fucking sucks, dude. It's enough to live on, but that's about it. Plenty of people have an image of the entirety of Harlem hanging out all day eating KFC and collecting welfare, but it's fucking expensive to rent even the shittiest apartment. I don't think that we should be giving them anything, but the fact remains that in Europe, you can legitimately live a comfortable life siting on your ass all day.

For example, when I lived in Berlin this summer, I stayed with a woman who "hurt her arm" a few years ago, and pays her mortgage for her 3 bedroom apartment next to a park with her government disability, gets free health care on top of that, and rents out a bedroom to pay for her cottage in the countryside. Now granted, the cottage is only three rooms, but someone living off of the state having a second home is totally unheard of in America. Plus, she's totally capable of working, but chooses not to because she would lose her benefits if she took a job, and on top of it all the benefits pay better than any position she could get.

3) Mexicans working in the US and sending remittances home is not a bad thing. Do you really want these migrant workers, generally young men, bringing their whole families to the US? Then we'd spend a ton more supporting them. We get the best of both worlds: fit young men doing work efficiently for next to nothing, who spend a solid 60% of their income in the US, and there is no extra baggage, no children to send to public schools, etc.

4) TrueLife: Europeans pay way more in taxes than we do.


The big debt issue with the US isn't that we're blowing trillions on poor migrants or inner city bums...it's our middle class. Medicare and Social Security are WAY more of a money pit than any programs we extend to illegal immigrants, who don't take part in these programs. More than 50% of the Federal Budget, in fact, is Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

Yeh mate firstly I'm English, hence why I called it football.

Secondly, that charity is not about trying to stop racism in the football leagues, that charity is about using high profile football players to stop general racism in the country, which I agree does exist.

I'm still yet to see any evidence of racism in the major football leagues, maybe at a lower level of league there is? But not at all on the scale where an American would have heard about it. If anything our football leagues are where I see race going completely out the window, how good the person is at football is what matters the most.

I wouldn't say its 100x easier to get into europe, france and the uk have so many immigrants, half of paris is black people who don't speak a word of french, most northern cities in the uk are all council houses due to the amount of blacks and asians living there, most of them don't have jobs either.. my dad works for a bank and gets hundreds of phone calls a day from africans living in london, bradford, manchester saying they have no money etc etc..
