Are you guys fucking serious? Casabons run what damn weak! It is not steezy, it just fucking lazy... he does not hold hes grabs through out the rotations, hes landings are just back seat and weak. if he lands a certain way with control, allright, but he dosen´t even have control, he just lands backseat because he can not finish hes rotations properly.... Jossis run was waaaaaaaaaaaay better then casabons. Casabon in edits with urban stuff = sweet, casabon in a slopestyle comp= a little bit of grab, struggeling to get around, and weak landings, and he diden´t even to to legit stuff on the rails....

come on guys, its like 90% of NS just love casabon no matter what he does... He have done some inovate shit, fore sure but this is just weak... there was so amny further down on the list which should have had hes spot!

Have to admit tohat Henshaw's run was very good and technical, but I just couldn't catch that feel, you know. Just something about that style of his that does nothing for me. Carlson on the other hand, so much energy in his skiing, I love the push style.

This is an extreme sport competition. Those who can do extreme tricks are going to win over smaller tricks.

What would be the point in doing 3s, 5s, zeros etc. at such a high level of the sport? Those are tricks that every one of those athletes can do, a switch double misty 12 smoothly, many can't.

Nothing is stopping you from organizing a competition based on style. All it takes is initiative, fishing for sponsors to pay for some prizes and solving the thing with your local mountain. See how to judge things properly with everyone throwing smooth 3s and 5s and tell me how it went.

JOI back in the day had a good start, Best 180, Best 360 and so on. It's kind of dropped of the map after that.

you're probably some gaper who only gets his information from what mike douglas says... do you have any idea how much harder it is to do a trick when you're grabbing truck driver or double mute? let me ask you, how many people you've seen thrown a switch 10 or 12 with those grabs compared to how many people can throw double corks with a mute grab? i mean in any comp. and in movies. just like how rails had to take a while to be recognized, which b-dog SLAYED more smoothly and tech wise than most there, the same goes with grabs. how difficult a trick is isn't only determined by how much you spin and flip and because you cannot recognize that, you're an idiot.

sw misty 10 truck to sw cork 12 dub japan? plus the rail section was more progressive than most pros are in their movie parts.

come on man nobody else has ever done any of that shit, in a comp or otherwise, and he went 20 ft deeper on the last one that anyone else. jossi's run was dope but he just did the same tricks as everyone else.

you are kidding right? what was weak about any of his runs? bouncing off of the lip to tail press? i didnt see anyone else 4 out of that rail. so becuase he didnt dub, his run was weak? weak landings? he took each landing straight to the bottom. do you have any idea how hard it is to land that low and setup for the next jump? no you probably dont.

does anyone else agree with me that mike douglas doesnt know shit about skiing? change up? i think he gets a boner over mute grabs and any double that bobby or sammy does.

douglas can still rip but he's in a different generation of skiing... they should def. have LVV be the announcer. at least he can point out things in tricks such as which grabs are harder and if they actually double corked or just kinda looked like they did.

i think casabon got the position he deserved, sure he didnt double.. but that switch 10 truck driver just blew my mind, and also hes railing. i also think that switch 12 double japan is harder than a dub cork 10 mute. i don't remember hes first jump but im pretty sure it was a unnatural spin

4sure, its actually really cool that you can get to the finals without dubs! but casabons run just ain´t that good, or steezy.... yeah, bryanbryans he does have some more diffucult grabs then many other but still, he does not do them that smooth, and does a grab different really justify sw 10 as a great comptrick again? You sayin youd rather want everyone to go back to regular sw 10 and 12 but just change up the grabs a little?

And no fucking way you can call hes two last hits misty and cork, those are just regualr spins

haha, well because we have different opinions does not make me a retard. and talking about gaper, I have had an profile since feb 2005, but you have been here since may 2010.... So I don´t really see how my opinion becomes the gaper one and yours the pro one...

And as I said, qualifying without dubs it great! the sport needs that, but Casabon just didn´t deserve it, thats all. But you have problems reading everything in a thread I guess, so you probably didn´t catch that.
