Alright from what ive heard the current ip address format is out of addresses ..... Soo a new version of addresses are being made to house more cites, but im pretty sure all the old addresses (meaning newschoolers) will be fine..... But im not really sure haha

Well anything that connects to the internet uses an IP address we are going to run out so that means we will supposedly not be able to access the internet

yeah, you didn't even read your own article.

god dammit, i work in IT, let me clear this up:

some organizations use IPv4 addresses, most are upped to IPv6 which has some 304 quadrillion addressses or some shit like that.

IP address leases are controlled by IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority)yes, one can actually BUY these adresses. It's sort of like an internet PO Box. Most are re-sold through ISPs like comcast, clearwire, verizon, charter, etc etc there are thousands. they buy ranges of addresses, and dole them out to customers as need be. alot of ISPs offer the option to buy a 'static ip address' meaning it remains the same (this is useful for websites/DNS servers that need to remain the same to make the internet work efficiently).

don't worry guys, the internet is still gonna work once IPv4 address space is filled up

NS isnt going anywhere. HTTP packets and webservers are already compatible with IPv6

Yes but anyone using Xp or earlier will have to buy 7 does have the capabilities of switching to IPv6 and if NS is hosting in IPv4 then theres the chance that they will be off the grid givin their IP is restablished every day or so...you have a valid point.....but "NS already has an IP address" COME ON
