looking for some tips on how to hit a jump switch, I find Im always leaning toward my tips when im hitting the jump so it puts me off balance in the air and I hae trouble figuring how fast/slow im going before i hit it
Go into the jump forwards so you get your speed right then pop 180 when you're confident in your speed. Practice is the real key for just switch 180s and stuff, keep hitting small jumps and you'll get used to is. Also make sure you're comfortable skiing switch, youtube for tips on that. One day of just swtich 180ing a 10-15 foot jump and you should have it down. It's okay if they're sketchy at first
I think the key for switch spins is just to relax while your on the jump. Take a nice wide stance while taking off, and if your only spinning 1 or 3 try to spot your landing as soon as your in the air.
This is the most important thing in my experience, by no means am i spinning huge switch spins and whatnot, but i think it applies universally. When I prepare for a zero spin or and switch spin, i jus remind myself right before the lip to stay composed, then everything will be fine. Cuz if you find yourself forcing to get back to regular or leaning on way then things will go bad.
"Couple of advil, relax and chill, at a standstill with how bad I feel"
What is that thing? It looks like one of those giant moles from Super Mario World. -Casual
3. Full tilts will make your dick grow 4"-5" (it's debated)
i got some really good advice about doing a switch 1 a few years ago....he told me to really relax and take my time so i didnt throw myself off balance. that works really well and i havent found a much better feeling than a really chilled switch 1.
throw it like you're doing a switch 3 on a smaller jump. once you're in the air, it feels almost the same as a normal 360. Be sure to have a good pop because, at least for me, the inside edge of my trailing ski sometimes gets caught up on the lip. I'm still working on them myself.
one thing that really helps is to bend your knees! I see a lot of kids going into jumps switch with boner steeze and you can't stay balanced and get a good pop standing straight up. Also, when you are standing straight up your point of balance is going to be more over the tips of your skis than anything else. Think about this... when you come into a jump forward, is it easier to spin with pressure on the front of your boots or sitting back seat? Same thing goes for switch hits. You need to be balanced over your skis with your knees bent and pop!
make sure to pop and really wait for the lip. i didnt do that at windells when i tried to switch 3 a 20 and i ate a lot of shit. and i mean i supermanned hit the knuckle with my chest the yard saled down the landing. not fun

skiing is fun dont u think?

sean tom: i fucking hate that guy
lean back a bit even
look around your shoulder not over it, it's a lot easier
for a switch 180 if you're already looking around your shoulder and take off somewhat smoothly then the spin will happen without any setting or really even pop
