How often do you ski?

Hey all. i've seen a ton of skiers better than me on here. I'm at a progresion point right now...540s are too easy, and need a bigger jump to try and 7. Rails and boxes are coming along too, they just involve more falling. Just wondering how many times you ski per week. Now i'm at two...school ski club and a night pass.

on a good year... around 12 days, sometimes up to 15 (for the whole year)... no wonder so many people here are better than me.

3 to 5 times a week for probably an average of 4 hours. just enough to not get too sore to ride the next day usually

Once a week, with random day/weekend trips thrown in wherever they can fit. Plan on going way more when I get my drivers license though.

Everyday during breaks, when classes are in I get 4 days a week. Right now though i'm getting nothing, injury's suck.

I teach 5 days a week but its very rare that I will teach the whole day so can get at least a hour or two in.

I get monday and tuesdays off so usually shred both days unless im knackered. Plus I ski thursday and friday nights.

Teaching kinda sucks for going skiing but I have a good deal, but next year will probably not work or work very little to ski as much as possible through the winter.

On the mountain: 2-3 times a week

Other places (like back yard, CMC rails, etc): 4 times or so a week.

4-7 days a week usually. my home mountain is a 10 minute drive/15 minute bus ride and open till 10pm every night. pretty easy to get even an hour of shredding in every day.

i punched the ticket on 35 today.

but it should be noted that im not always skiing a "day" sometimes its 2-3 hours.


that said Im in the middle of 21ish straight days of skiing. between working, (ski instructor) race coaching days, etc. i wont have an off day until later in the month.


after that Ill have a solid 5-6 days a week until march.

most weeks once for park, once for technique and shit. about 2 hours each session, i live in england so thats all i get, but i get that all year. i also try and go to europe for 2 weeks in the season, and saving up so i can hopefully go to summer camp for a couple weeks in the summer. but a snow domes gonna be built near me next year, so exited!

Used to ski 80-90 days a season...every season...only gotten in 3 days this season, and about 30 last year. I have no season passes anymore.

3 days on a normal week, Wednesday night and the weekend.

And of course everyday if I'm not in school. Got 18 days over christmas-break.

i'm at uni so once a week. i could push it to fridays and saturdays, but we'll see if the season picks up out here. saturday isn't even my own ski time. i volunteer my ski day to help out with physically disabled skiers so that they better access the hill.
