Kinked urban

there is this kinked rail by a school near my house. its a down-flat-down-flat-down.

how do you even begin to be able to get past the kinks? i would figure when you hit the last kink ur unbalamced?

As far as kinked rails go hitting an urban one by your house is probably a bad place to start. I'd recommend hitting some mellow kinked boxes, and then kinked rails at a local resort first, and concentrate on absorbing the flat sections with your knees, staying low, and looking at the end of the rail

Is this your first kinked rail or box ever? Not a great place to start... I would do a kinked box or rail at a mountain first. Just get the feeling of staying low and pumping/powering through the kinks. Best way to do the whole thing is to look at the very end which can be really hard with kinks. All practice though.

i'll take a pic of it when my friends and i go back to check the school out. dont have one on me sorry.

as for first time, no ive done flat down boxes and down flat down boxes before and a flat down rail.

just kinda weird trying a rail with two kinks i was wondering if there were any good tips this will be my first urban by the way.. my friends are trying to get me to go for it, i know the first time ill probably eat shit but i gotta start somewhere.

i'll film it too for you guys to enjoy.

Yeah I guess that helps. So you know how to transition from flat to down, now just down to flat. At our mountain there isn't any real park so we set up what we want, which makes it easy to set up a box or rail with whatever you need to work on. Try to find a down flat down to learn more on or find an urban setup at the mountain with a 'donkey dick' at the end. Also, how good are you at urban? Not actual urban rails, but hopping from the side and locking onto rails?

uhm.. can't really say im good at urban. haha .i dont mind falling. i understand its gonna happen and its gonna hurt. should i practice hoping on to higher rails? i can hop prety good now.

jus go for it man take the kinks and also pop doesnt need to be a factor just build a jump big enough so that u can get on and grip
