Firstly, Shinbang is what skiers get, but shinsplints is what runners and walkers get. They are the same thing. This means that shin bang is because of impact as well as afterbanging or sitting back in your ski stance to much.
Shin splints are injuries to the front of the outer leg. While the exact injury is not known, shin splints seem to result from inflammation due to injury of the tendon (posterior peroneal tendon) and adjacent tissues in the front of the outer leg.(MedicineNet.com)

Often times if your ski boot is to big, canted funny, or in walk mode shinbang will occur. IF THE BOOT FITS.
How to heal it:
Just like when you work out shin splints/bang creates micro tears in your muscle. It is also caused by inflammation. This causes what is shown in the image below.
This means that protein, icing (for the inflammation), and stress-less periods of time will eventually heal your pain.
Here is a video on how to tape it. It is possible to tape your foot and put it in your ski boot.
