OFFICIAL BROKEN BONES HISTORY THREAD

Post up the times in your life when you broke bones, providing stories is much appreciated.

1. Wrist - I was being chased by the neighbors dumbass dog on my bike, and proceeded to hit a mailbox.

2. Ankle- Jumped off a roof when i was 13, landed flat, forgot to ninja roll.

3. Lower Vertabrae- Broke my lower back wrestling. This kid threw an illegal slam (cradle slam) on me and compressed my lower spine.

4. Shoulder- I blew up my shoulder on a failed 5 in the halfpipe. Landed on flat ice in the middle and snapped my humerus in half right below the ball, and dislocated my shoulder forward. I ended up getting fixed with 2 screws and 6 months hard therapy.

Left wrist broken 3 times, skating, skiing, and the most epic time was froot booting

right wrist - skating

both heels - skiing.. overshot a jump that used to be a stepup that the park crew decided to change into a table overnight. low vis made it impossible for me to see it had changed (and who scopes shit out anymore..) and i took it wayy deep, breaking both of my heels.

Right wrist: I was standing still, some gaper crashed into me and I fell downhill.

Left wrist: This happened two days ago, I knuckled while landing switch, got tomahawked and landed on my wrist. Fuck me. I was due to go to Austria yesterday for a month... I'm pity myself

partially torn MCL right knee and strained both ACL's (all from the same drop)

Torn ATFL in my ankle (the bottom of my foot touched the side of my leg)

Broke both thumbs

and prob a whole bunch more...

I've broken my knee cap twice- 3 surgeries and I currently have 2 screws in it.

Broken wrist.

I nailed that same knee on a rail yesterday, hopefully its a-ok.

Broken wrist- When i use to skate a little kid went out in front of me when i dropped in on a ramp, bailed so i didn't wreck him.

Fractured Tibula- Went on a 7-8 foot cliff on my last day out didn't really notice anything, made it worse during 3 mile runs during lax season.

wrist #1: grade 3, playing on the ice slides we made at our school, some fatass fell on top of me
wrist #2: went over a berm while biking, straight into a tree
thumb #1: riding a tiny 16" kids bike for the sake of fucking around, shorts caught on top cap bolt, threw me onto the pavement, landed on thumb
thumb #2: playing basketball in gym class some brother passes the ball really hard, I try to block it, it catches my thumb, bam, broken. I'm way too much of a honkey for that sport
shoulder/arm: overspun a 3, on a jump that I defs shouldn't have tried to spin (it was an old ski jump, the goofy ski jumping type)
wrist #3: cased a 25 ft'r, right after greasing that whore perfectly, the first time Click for larger image

It hurt like fuck after the adrenaline wore off. There was a bigass lump on my wrist, where the bone was SUPER close to poking through.

Hand- got hit in the hand very hard with a drum stick.

Thumb- curb stomped (minus the curb) my thumb on a landing.

Knee- I have O.C.D in my knee It's like a big chip on my joint, I was out of sports for like 6 months. Still healing.

Arm- did a spinning jump onto one of the zip-line/ track-slides things you see at parks and stuff. landed wrong caught myself with my arm. i did that when i was seven.

collar bone- skiing in the park did a 360, caught edge when i pre-spun under rotated and corked it onto my left shoulder... crack. that was this saturday

hahahahahah i lol'd at your friend's dad falling on you!

Tibia- spiral fracture after doing a 3 in 8th grade, my leg stopped and my body kept going.

Fibula- same accident ^

Left Thumb- went like 8ft out of the pipe at copper when in 7th grade and had no idea how to ride a real pipe.

Patella- called last run on opening day last year and just banged my knee super hard on the last rail in the park.

Isn't skiing fun???

A few years back I broke my shoulder. Once upon a time, I landed backseat and my arm caught the ground; during which time, it was whipped backwards, thus breaking the shoulder. There has also been a few broken fingers here and there, but that's about it.

left wrist & right hand-missed the landing on a hip in 8th grade and landed with both my hands out in front of me, breaking both simultaneously
