well i shoot with a dvx, so importation would be different on my camera, but i always shoot 30p, for action, and 24p for lifestyle shots, if i did have 60p, id probably use that to shoot my action shots, but i don't. I use final cut pro, but i might change over to premiere, but i thought i should tell you that before i go in depth about what i do in post, but while importing my 24p, i use the 23.98 from dv ntsc, and for 30p, i just import regular dv ntsc option, but its probably different with avchd files, im pretty sure you can just drag the files onto your desktop, from your sd card, then im pretty sure, your gonna have to convert them before bringing then into your NLE with some type of converter, then jsut make sure your sequence settings coincide with your video settings then bring them into your NLE then your all good.
