There's nothing better than a smoke on the chairlift, especially after an injury filled park lap. I ride with an assorted crew so we usually fill up a full quad chair and then some so I'm never worried about the rest of the chair not being alright with me smoking. When I get to the top I drop the butt in the garbage can and go take another lap.

I've never seen someone smoke in a lift line but that's ridiculous!

Just ask.

If it's an enclosed space, eg gondola/ chair with lid down, and you just light up next to me, lame move.

I never smoke in the lift unless I'm on it with friends. I also avoid smoking around kids.

I'll only burn on the lift if the next 2 or 3 chairs behind me are empty. Otherwise I'd prefer to dip into the woods. Way more chill and far less irritating to light/fix runs.
