Itchy hair

this happens more often than not when skiing and it's so damn irritating..showering the night before helps a little bit but it still bugs me.

anyone else have the same problem or am I the only loner with sensitive skin? any tips?

yea and rubbing snow or water through just increases it, it sucks balls. I just take my beanie or helment off on the lift occasionally and it helps a whole lot, because you wont be thinking about it while riding

washing it before you go usually helps. but its all the same. it doesn't really get itchy for me until i take my hat off after i've had it on all day. so i usually just don't take it off. maybe get a different material hat if its a big issue?

dont shower for weeks at a time, that layer of grease will stop any itch

your scalp isn't getting enough air...wearing a cotton beanie (if its not too cold out)and keeping the vents in your helmet open should help...as well as taking it off on the lift as you said before

only is a slight issue during summer skiing when it gets hot. just take off helmet on the chair

don't wear a toque and wear a helemet. and if you don't itch it or move it around then it will be way less tichy for you

serial answer, moisturizing shampoo, the skin on your head might be dried out and therefore itchy....

or you have fleas/lice/std ....

I get an itchy head sometime but usually doesn't really bother me. But taking off your helmet/beanie at the end of the day and rubbing your head is one of the best feeling things in the world.

wash you hair every day. You could just have dandrift and it is rubbing against your head wear, There is also the option that you have lice you should probably get the checked out too.
