the best setup would be a extra long box with a 90 degree angle thing that goes up so skiers can do 450 or 630 out with a down rail, a mini jump with a flat box after. ending with a 5 kink rail and a wall ride

Just got back from killington and I wasn't in rails to riches but I checked it out for a bit. Since the pictures aren't really that clear, the setup was a 20' urban down bar, the dfd you can see pretty clearly, and a gap on to a 20' down box with a flavor kink at the end.

A few kids were SLAYING the down box. Actually my favorite tricks I saw were on the box as opposed to either of the rails: 2 on, front 3 up, pretzel 2 out of the box and someone else threw a (granted, pretty sketchy) misty 4 out of the flavor kink which was dooope.

It looked like a really fun setup despite the pictures looking questionable. Definitely a good job by killington

Damn that looks like a lame R2R setup if they didn't make any changes after that, each jump should be like a foot lower. Whack, last years setup was fun as fuck.

To be fair, both of those were thrown in qualifiers. I didn't stick around for the finals but I'm assuming both of them made it.

And I thought the misty 4 was LJ but I wasn't sure so I didn't want to name drop. It was pretty ridiculous because the box wasn't very high off the ground.

is this serious? its pretty simple to get spin to win out of rail contests, stop scoring it so highly. the judges need to score people higher for doing something different, unnecessarily long and useless rails is not the answer. they tend to limit creativity even more because people are just focused on getting to the end.

people shouldnt need superbooters onto rails, a low flat take off is fine if you can ollie properly.

Actually it does on down features.  Theres no need for moguls jump onto down rails.  Low and almost flat take offs onto them is the best.
