GoPro HELP!

K, so i just got a new card for my gopro hd and wanted to update the firmwire...
i put in the new card (Lexar PLATINUM II 32gb sdhc 100x) in the gopro. and plug it into my computer (MBP) and nothing happened, it didnt show up on my desktop and the Gopro didnt do a thing.
It worked last year....
so i tried the same wire with my NikonD300 and it works fine.
but the gopro doesnt... it doesnt show up or anything, and now it died... Halp.

if your rly lazy.... go pro doesnt connect with mac, now its dead. hep.

You have a MBP. Use the sd reader then put it in your camera and update.

Uh yeah exactly. I have one, and have done the firmware update I know what you're trying to accomplish.


1. Remove sdhc card from GoPro
2. Insert into sd reader on MBP
3. Firmware to sd's root folder.
4. SD back into Gopro
5. Follow instructions for update.

Don't bullshit with the cable if you don't have to. You know you have to power it on after you plug it in to go USB mode?

yeah, ive used it 100 times before, then after the summer (i didnt use it in the last 3 months) it now doesnt work
and i have the 1st MBP there are no SD readers, and i dont have an SD reader.
my sis has a camera, but shes being annoying...
anywase, this thing is dead, how do i charge if it doesnt plug in?
