but i feel it would be an amazing idea to make a post count minimum to be able to create a thread in the b/s/t threads


it would cut down on SOOO many of the INEEDFULLTILTZ OR SPKZ!! and all that shit. and overall would keep it so much less cluttered.


idk what do you guys think

some people use NS as a selling resource, and dont have many posts. And newbs are legit sometimes, too.

which is not really what the site is for. yeah you can sell anything you want but it should be restricted to people who use the site. and i realize that but 75% of them arent serious

I do not like that idea. As someone who has been on here for a couple years but doesn't feel the need to post everything that comes to mind. What if i come on here one day and see a really good deal I cant jump on it, just because I don't post enough?

People would just spam the shit out of NSG until they got to a post minimum. Same with a karma limit, it would just create a shit ton of OMGMGMG KARMA PLZZZZZZZZZ!! threads.

i didnt get to 500 posts until a few weeks ago... that doesnt mean im not legit it just means i dont post whore the fuck out of ns. i was buying and selling at 20 posts and there were no problems.

SP's minimum is only 50 posts. I think the reason that NS is much more cluttered is for two reasons:

1. Most of NS's threads are big sales, where multiple unrelated items are sold. On SP, people usually only sell one thing at a time.

2. SP has different BST forums, for photo gear, film gear, and then everything else. Maybe if we had a few different sub-forums for hard goods, soft goods, and then general sales, it would clean things up.
