Quick Algebra 2 Question

Just a quick question I have for Algebra 2 peeps out there.
+k to any attempts or correct answers.


Basically it has to do with the transformation of a graph/equation.

Here it is:

y=2^x is the original equation


If the other line has a horizontal dilation of 3, what is the new equation?




I feel stupid because I should know it but whatever.

if by dilation you mean like stretch, then y=2^(1/3x). what is algebra 2? highschool course?
