Hi, I'm 15 and am ignorant of the fact that guns are used thousands of times each year for defense and are only very rarely used in situations such as this that banning guns probably wouldn't even prevent anyway.

don't drag it out and give him time. The instant they get a chance, bring him down. I don't care if he's mentally disturbed, insane, or just plain stupid...he's holding hostages and could be killing them or who knows what. End it quick.

Bad people will find a way to get guns regardless of laws restricting them.  It could just as easily be a kid holding hostages with a homemade fertilizer bomb, this isn't the right place for a second amendment political shitstorm argument.

There is very little room for opinion in this story.  FoxNews is conservatively biased; that doesn't mean they lie about hostage situations. 

If they were to lie about a story like this, it would be extremely detrimental to their reputation with conservatives.  Thus, there is no reason not to trust Fox News on a story like this.

So you're saying that by allowing students to bring guns to school, things are safer? I think its you that has it ass backwards. You know how many shootings would happen if guns were allowed in schools? Just as an example, if I were bullied, does that mean that to "defend myself" I can pull a gun and pop a cap in the bully? Fuck no. We have nothing to fight in the US anymore. No invaders, no imperial armies trying to bring us back under control, nothing. Aside from making it easier for people to buy guns and shoot holes through animals, etc. until they look like swiss cheese, the 2nd amendment is outdated and therefor obsolete.

That's awesome. Using a gun for self defense doesn't mean shots have to be fired. The vast majority of times when guns are drawn in self defense they aren't. There isn't really a more effective non-violent way to deter an attack then pointing a gun and telling someone to gtfo. I'm not promoting that casually, by the way. I'm talking about in cases like attempted robbery, home invasion, etc. And if the need arises to actually fire the weapon you have that option.

I know this was a joke but i have to reply haha. It's actually fairly diverse because people came from everywhere (including other countries) to work in the mines in the early 1900's. Lots of Irish, Italians, Mexicans, etc. to compliment the standard English people. If you're looking for incest look no further than Amish country.
